d final formula!

People are often unreasonable, illogivcal and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway!

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway!

If you are successful, you will win some flse friends and some true enemies.
Succeed anyway!

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway!

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.
Build anyway!

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway!

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway!

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you've got anyway!

You see in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway!

Project of Quezon Online Auction

Introduction

The Quezon Online Auction is our thesis project. The thesis group choose this title because it is very challenging to us. The Q-Auction where you can bid, buy, and post a new item. Quezon Auction is online to everyone but it has a limitation because it is for Quezons only. The Q-Auction have user agreement how to use the site. The users are welcome to use or view the site and free to register but for quezonians only.

If you want to visit the Q-Auction this is the link: http://auction.lucenabiz.com
Thank you!.........

This is the gantt chart of Q-Auction.

Gantt chart
It is a type of bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. Gantt charts illustrate the start and finish dates of the terminal elements and summary elements of a project.

The gantt chart o
f Q-Auction illustrate the list of schedules of doing the activities.

The gantt chart its better to use in doing
a thesis and it is very familiar in students. But the use of our new technology there are some ways in to do a new type of scheduling like the mlestone, PERT/CPM and etc.

Milestone
It will discussed the end of a stage that marks the completion of a work package or phase, typically marked by a high level event such as completion, endorsement or signing of a deliverable, document or a high level review meeting.

The milestone of scheduling the Q-Auction.

A Brief description of mlistone an d ga n tt:

A milestone chart depicts key events along a timescale.

A milestone chart traditionally used triangles to d

epict a specific event.

A milestone on a milestone chart Gantt can depict a

specific event or a culmination of events.

Milestones on a milestone chart Gantt can be shown in various colors or with markings that indicate status.

A milestone chart Gantt is usually used for top level reporting so management does not become bogged down in the minutia of the project or projects.

The PERT and CPM

Planning through scheduling by the use of PERT and CPM:

The project planning process consists of the following:

  1. Setting the project start date
  2. Setting the project completion date
  3. Selecting the project methodology or project life cycle to be used
  4. Determining the scope of the project in terms of the phases of the selected project methodology or project life cycle
  5. Identifying or selecting the project review methods to be used
  6. Identifying any predtermined interim milestone or other critical dates which must be met.
  7. Listing tasks, by project phase, in the order in which they might be accomplished.
  8. Estimating the personnel necessary to accomplish each task
  1. Estimating the personnel available to accomplish each task
  2. Determining skill level necessay to perform each task
  3. Determining task dependencies
    - Which tasks can be done in parallel
    - Which tasks require the completion of other tasks before they can start
  4. Project control or review points
  5. Performing project cost estimation and cost-benefit analysis

PERT/CPM

CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (Programme Evaluation Review Technique) are project management techniques, which have been created out of the need of Western industrial and military establishments to plan, schedule and control complex projects.

PERT

Is a method to analyze the involved tasks in completing a given project, especially the time needed to complete each task, and identifying the minimum time needed to complete the total project.

CPM

It is calculates the longest path of planned activities to the end of the project, and the earliest and latest that each activity can start and finish without making the project longer. This process determines which activities are "critical" (i.e., on the longest path) and which have "total float" (i.e., can be delayed without making the project longer).

The CPM schedule for Q-Auction. It is discussed the critical path method of the events.

In the use of PERT/CPM the thesis group choose the best type of scheduling and learn how to use it.

COST PRESENTATION

The thesis group cost begins in planning and development of the project.

S-Cu rve
It is a well known project management tool and it consists in "a display of cumulative costs, labor hours or other quantities plotted against time".The na me derives from the S-like shape of the curve, flatter at the beginning and end and steeper in the middle, because this is the way most of the projects look like.

The S curve can be considered as an indicator and it's used for many applications related to project management such as: target, baseline, cost, time etc. That's why there is a variety of S Curves such as:
-Cost versus Time S Curve;(appropriate for projects that contain labour and non-labour tasks).
-Target S Curve;(This S Curve reflects the ideal progress of the project if all tasks are completed as currently scheduled)
-Value and Percentage S Curves;(Percentage S Curves are useful for calculating the project's actual percentage complete)
-Actual S Curve;(This S Curve reflects the actual progress of the project to
date)

In order to be able to generate a S Curve, A Baseline and Production Schedule are necessary because they contain important information for each task: -the Baseline - contains information about Actual Start date and finish date.
The Baseline - can also contain information about Man Hours and costs.
The Production Schedule contains information about the actual percentage complete.

The S-curve discussed illustration of the Q-auction Cost and the Actual cost.
