City of Tayabas

Welcome!!

Tayabas Quezon become Tayabas City

I am from the City of Tayabas , I want to promote their Natural Resources, Physical Features, Industries and Agriculture's. Visit and read some informations about the new City of Quezon name Tayabas City.

The City of Tayabas, Quezon (Filipino: Lungsod ng Tayabas, Quezon) is a component city in the province of Quezon, Philippines. It was once the capital of the province. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 70,985 people in 15,155 households. Tayabas is known for lambanog (coconut wine) and sweet food/delicacies, as well as resorts.

On March 18, 2007, Republic Act No. 9398, An Act Converting the Municipality of Tayabas in the Province of Quezon into a Component City to be known as City of Tayabas, was enacted into law. On July 14, 2007, the municipality held a plebiscite to ratify the conversion of the said act, with the residents voting in favor of the move, although there was a low turnout of voters for the plebiscite.

History of the Town of Tayabas

Prior to the coming of the Spaniards in 1521, the natives of Tayabas lived in scattered villages. These Tayabenses had their own system of government, strict code of ethics, communal type of economy, and a very indigenous from of religion. Just like any rural village in the Philippines, social order in Tayabas was affected by the barangay set up that was headed by a chief or council of elders. Retribution was facilitated as the set of norms was known by everyone in the village. There as a strong sense of cooperation among the people as evidence by the atagan (bayanihan system). Communal landholdings were prevalent at that time. Peasants of Tayabas helped one another, on a rotation basis, in connection to their agricultural activities such as planting and harvesting crops locally known as turnohan. Marketing of products was through barter within the village or in nearby areas when production exceeded consumption needs in the locality.

In 1578, two Franciscan missionaries, Fray Juan de Plasencia and Fray Diego de Oropesa founded Tayabas while pursuing Spain’s missionary objective, and planted the first seed of Christian faith among the natives.

For 131 years (1779-1910), the town of Tayabas was the cabecera of the then called Tayabas Province. The province is now called Quezon Province.

Risk Management...

What is risk?

Risk is a concept that denotes the precise probability of specific eventualities. Technically, the notion of risk is independent from the notion of value and, as such, eventualities may have both beneficial and adverse consequences.

Think about it! All of us encounter a risk, this is the possible that we can do in ourselves maybe good thing or bad things will happens. How can we solve this kinds of risk For me i have talents like playing sports it is very good into our health but there's a risk that can be happen. The risk is same as a problem, as a student of STI LUCENA we are updated of any kinds of technology that we can earn money by sitting in a chair in our own houses through the connection of internet I'm dex a 4th college student taking up comsci. All 4thyears are doing a projects name thesis because it is required. First of all our thesis title is QUEZON ONLINE AUCTION. In doing the thesis we are compose of four members. The quezon online auction is a website development.

What are the risk we encounter in doing the thesis Q-Auction and how we can solve it.

a. Time, Budget and Schedule

-yes the time is very important in doing thesis project, that we can submit on time.Time after time inspirations gives as strong to do our projects. In the used of budgeting we can solve the risk that will happen in doing the projects. In the help of management of scheduling like the PERT/CPM we can manage it to do the thesis organizable.

b. The group mates cooperation
-in doing thesis there are some problems like the funds and even fees. Its nice to assign everyone of the members have their own responsibility in developing the thesis of Q-Auction. The proponents will having a meeting on time to be more organize and preparation of the groups to avoid risks.

c. Lack of resources that is related in the project
-
in developing the Q-Auction we are need some advices and interviews in person to person that are already involve businesses. That we can apply in our project that is related in sales.

d. Flow of the projects
-
the correct flow of step by step in doing the project. It is nice to know the correct flow and to develop the functioning of the website development. In the use of some project management we can budget and manage the time to know the flow of the projects in the use of planning, analyzing and scheduling.

The risk is always there but we can avoid that by entertain ourselves to follow the right path/road.

d final formula!

People are often unreasonable, illogivcal and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway!

If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway!

If you are successful, you will win some flse friends and some true enemies.
Succeed anyway!

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
Be honest and frank anyway!

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight.
Build anyway!

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
Be happy anyway!

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
Do good anyway!

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you've got anyway!

You see in the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway!

Project of Quezon Online Auction

If you want to visit the Q-Auction this is the link: http://auction.lucenabiz.com
Thank you!.........

This is the gantt chart of Q-Auction.

Gantt chart
It is a type of bar chart that illustrates a project schedule. Gantt charts illustrate the start and finish dates of the terminal elements and summary elements of a project.

The gantt chart o
f Q-Auction illustrate the list of schedules of doing the activities.

The gantt chart its better to use in doing
a thesis and it is very familiar in students. But the use of our new technology there are some ways in to do a new type of scheduling like the mlestone, PERT/CPM and etc.

Milestone
It will discussed the end of a stage that marks the completion of a work package or phase, typically marked by a high level event such as completion, endorsement or signing of a deliverable, document or a high level review meeting.

The milestone of scheduling the Q-Auction.

A Brief description of mlistone an d ga n tt:

A milestone chart depicts key events along a timescale.

A milestone chart traditionally used triangles to d

epict a specific event.

A milestone on a milestone chart Gantt can depict a

specific event or a culmination of events.

Milestones on a milestone chart Gantt can be shown in various colors or with markings that indicate status.

A milestone chart Gantt is usually used for top level reporting so management does not become bogged down in the minutia of the project or projects.

The PERT and CPM

Planning through scheduling by the use of PERT and CPM:

The project planning process consists of the following:

  1. Setting the project start date
  2. Setting the project completion date
  3. Selecting the project methodology or project life cycle to be used
  4. Determining the scope of the project in terms of the phases of the selected project methodology or project life cycle
  5. Identifying or selecting the project review methods to be used
  6. Identifying any predtermined interim milestone or other critical dates which must be met.
  7. Listing tasks, by project phase, in the order in which they might be accomplished.
  8. Estimating the personnel necessary to accomplish each task
  1. Estimating the personnel available to accomplish each task
  2. Determining skill level necessay to perform each task
  3. Determining task dependencies
    - Which tasks can be done in parallel
    - Which tasks require the completion of other tasks before they can start
  4. Project control or review points
  5. Performing project cost estimation and cost-benefit analysis

PERT/CPM

CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (Programme Evaluation Review Technique) are project management techniques, which have been created out of the need of Western industrial and military establishments to plan, schedule and control complex projects.

PERT

Is a method to analyze the involved tasks in completing a given project, especially the time needed to complete each task, and identifying the minimum time needed to complete the total project.

CPM

It is calculates the longest path of planned activities to the end of the project, and the earliest and latest that each activity can start and finish without making the project longer. This process determines which activities are "critical" (i.e., on the longest path) and which have "total float" (i.e., can be delayed without making the project longer).

The CPM schedule for Q-Auction. It is discussed the critical path method of the events.

In the use of PERT/CPM the thesis group choose the best type of scheduling and learn how to use it.

COST PRESENTATION

The thesis group cost begins in planning and development of the project.

S-Cu rve
It is a well known project management tool and it consists in "a display of cumulative costs, labor hours or other quantities plotted against time".The na me derives from the S-like shape of the curve, flatter at the beginning and end and steeper in the middle, because this is the way most of the projects look like.

The S curve can be considered as an indicator and it's used for many applications related to project management such as: target, baseline, cost, time etc. That's why there is a variety of S Curves such as:
-Cost versus Time S Curve;(appropriate for projects that contain labour and non-labour tasks).
-Target S Curve;(This S Curve reflects the ideal progress of the project if all tasks are completed as currently scheduled)
-Value and Percentage S Curves;(Percentage S Curves are useful for calculating the project's actual percentage complete)
-Actual S Curve;(This S Curve reflects the actual progress of the project to
date)

In order to be able to generate a S Curve, A Baseline and Production Schedule are necessary because they contain important information for each task: -the Baseline - contains information about Actual Start date and finish date.
The Baseline - can also contain information about Man Hours and costs.
The Production Schedule contains information about the actual percentage complete.

The S-curve discussed illustration of the Q-auction Cost and the Actual cost.
